Access to the Arsenale Naval Base is granted only during the Biennales, Art or Architecture. In a city with infinite vanishing points I was confounded here by the perspective and so resolved the unlikely alignments in diagrams that I later thought worth replicating in a painting. This is after all, a part of the process in creating illusions.
